Dear Potential Exhibitor:

The 101st Council of the Episcopal Diocese of West Texas will be held at the South Padre Island Convention Center February 17 - 19, 2004.  Over 1000 clergy and laypersons are expected to attend. 

We invite you to be an exhibitor at this Council.  If you are new to Council, please note that your participation must be approved by the Diocese.

The exhibit area will contain 32 booths, of which 16 are premium booths at $225 each (odd numbered Booths 1 - 31).  The remaining booths (even numbered booths 2 - 32) are available at $175 for commercial enterprises and $125 for non-profit and charitable organizations.

Each booth will be a standard 8' x 10' draped exhibit booth with a 7' 6" red background drape and 3' tall white side drapes.  Booths will be equipped with one 6' draped table and two chairs.  A 7" x 44" standard one line identification booth sign will also be provided.  Charges for additional tables, chairs, or other equipment and for electrical power will be addressed in the packet you will receive from the decorating service (F.D.C. Expo Convention Decorators) in December.

Vendors may setup booths from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm Wednesday, and 8:00 am to 10:00 am on Thursday.  All vendors should be in their booths by 10:30 am.  Booth tear-down is permitted only after 12 noon on Saturday.

On-line registration for exhibitors begins Nov. 5, 2004 at www.council-dwtx.org and is by credit card only.  The deadline for registering is December 15.  (A $25 late fee will be added to registrations after December 15.)  Upon receipt of your credit card and reservation information, your reservation will be considered complete and you will receive a confirmation via email. Reservations will be closed when all booth spaces have been reserved, however a waiting list will be maintained.  Please monitor www.council-dwtx.org for updates.

Note:  Because the exhibit booths are in the foyer in front of the entrance to the Council Hall,

  • all booths must be set up BEFORE Council begins, and
  • remain intact until AFTER Council Adjourns.
