As diverse as is the Episcopal Church, General Convention can be messy, factional, and petty, but sometimes profound and always inspirational.

It is a reminder that all Episcopalians are part of "One holy, catholic, and apostolic faith," and at its best it is a small vision of God at work in His world.

Process

Choose a presenter from your parish; it could be the rector, but doesn't have to be. The leader will present the material and lead the conversation after the presentation.

If you have access to a computer and projector, you can download the slide presentations here, and project the presentation on a screen.

If you don't have access to a computer and projector, you can use these speaker's notes to make a copy of the presentation for your attendees.

Printable participant handouts are available at the above links, if you would like to print them for your attendees.

The presentation of material should take about 20 minutes, leaving 35-60 minutes for small group reflection .
